Log in to Squarespace and go to the domain you want to use. Navigate to the DNS section.
Delete Default Records: If you're setting up a new domain, you'll have default records. Delete them by clicking on the delete icon. If you already have a website, you may need to contact support for custom records.
Add CNAME Records:
Click Add Record, choose CNAME.
Go to CloseWise, copy the value provided.
In Squarespace, paste the value in the Alias Data section and remove any periods.
Copy everything in the Host section up to the domain name and paste it there.
Click Save.
Add a Second CNAME Record:
Repeat the steps above for the WWW record. In the Host section, enter WWW and in the Alias Data, paste the second value from CloseWise.
Click Save again.
Launch Your Website: Once the records are saved, go through the remaining steps to launch your CloseWise website.
Wait for Propagation: It may take about 1 hour for your site to go live. You’ll receive an email when your website is launched.
