Hi everyone! welcome to the Tutorial on bulk uploading legacy signing data and your past signing experience.
So in step one we uploaded our past clients and in step two, we want to make sure we import all of our completed signings.
This is good for two reasons.
One is that if you import all this past data, you now have all of your previous data consolidated into close Wise.
Therefore, you can use close Wise's accounting systems and Invoicing systems to track all of your past orders to make sure they've been paid for and also use it for accounting purposes overall.
Now if you don't want to use close wise for your accounting tools, that's fine, but the other reason is because every time you add an order to close Wise, it shows as experience to customers that may want to schedule you through the close wise marketplace,
so let's jump right into it.
So in step one, we uploaded our clients which we can see here and also that client ID. for step two, we want to go into our accounting section and into the income list. from the income list , we're going to bulk upload the file with the signings we've tracked. first we are going to select bulk upload.
From here, we're going to upload the CSV file or Excel spreadsheet that we were able to export from other softwares that we may use or from the sheet we've been tracking using manual entry into spreadsheets.
So we'll go ahead and open that spreadsheet and just like in the first video, you'll see we're going to do some field mapping.
So the signing number here and close wise will be the file number.
Our contact number will be our client ID again which is very important.
Now we're going to add our signers first name, signers last name, we'll add their phone number and if we have an e-mail, we'll add that here.
Now we have our signing date, very important.
And then probably the most important is making sure that we add our signing fee for this order.
If you had multiple fees, you can add those here and if there's a field in here that you think is necessary, let us know and that column will get added for you.
Once we have this information inputted, we're just going to click Import.
And we'll see that that data has been uploaded successfully.
Now that means that order is showing as experience and it also means it is in your accounting income system to view and process payments or to send invoices.
